Speed and Epic account services

Speed is an Unreal Engine multiplayer prototype. Where a build offers Epic Account Services sign-in, Epic handles the login. The application can receive account identifiers and basic profile information permitted by the approved sign-in scope, along with authentication results needed to operate the session. VR11 does not need your Epic password. Epic Online Services may be used for online sessions and networking. See the Epic Games privacy policy for Epic’s processing. LAN features depend on the build.

02

Giant web demo

The demo uses a dedicated server for gameplay. A player display name and local preferences can be stored in that browser. Room and match state are held in server memory; restarting the game server ends those matches. Connection information is used to deliver and secure the session. The current demo does not provide account registration, permanent match history, or saved-game accounts. Other players in a room can see the display name and gameplay information needed for that match.

03

Choices, retention, and support

You can clear browser site data to remove locally saved demo preferences and leave a session at any time. For Speed, account settings and deletion of Epic-held data are managed through Epic’s account tools. For questions about data handled by the studio, contact fasfin@vr11.net. Include the game and build or demo URL involved. Do not include account passwords or authentication tokens. General website handling is described in the privacy policy.

04

Children and future builds

These prototypes are not designed to bypass age or consent requirements of account services. We do not knowingly seek children’s personal information in violation of applicable law. A build that adds accounts, payments, analytics, persistent progression, or new data processing will need an updated notice before those features are offered.
